Now that spring is in the air and the sun has come to be a welcome sight as we rise to start another day, I would like to extend a big congratulations to all of you here at YSI who have rallied together during those long dark winter months fighting both bad weather and a crummy cold bug that seemed to zap each one of us at different times. We have experienced some changes at YSI and as your new Director I’m confident that as we move forward we will see many great opportunities for all of us to take advantage of. These opportunities will be for the betterment of the company and will add to the fulfillment of all our roles we play in achieving our highest standards, with the focus always being on our great mission. I look forward to spending my first Spring and Summer in Yakima and anticipate a surge in all business activities as we will see new updated equipment arrive in both the Wood Shop and Laundry facility. This new equipment will advance YSI’s safety, efficiency and reliability while lending to our mission of job creation. So, in closing, it has been a wonderful experience so far as your Director and I look forward to facing all future opportunities with you along with the exciting activities that Spring and Summer will bring.
